If anything needs sustained sanitation with minimal risk of infections, it's sportswear. There's a reason why the fungal infection is called the "athlete's foot". It is a fungal infection that requires a warm, dark and humid environment to grow. It can be found on floors and clothing - infection risks that are common in many homes, schools, athlete locker rooms.
QUANTFIBRE-Sport fabric is very gentle with ultrafine fibres roughly 1000 times thinner than a hair strand and yet, densely woven to filter out microbes, while still being breathable. The fabric can be wrapped around wounds to prevent infection, foster healing and promote re-epithelialization (skin formation). This is particularly critical for the healing of ulcers in diabetic patients, and athletes using bandages for first aid kits, where injury needs to be contained from infection prior to the arrival of proper care.
Our goal is to use this fabric in the inner lining of sport apparel, to provide more sanitary and bacteria and fungi-resistant sportswear.
