QuantFibreTM is the division of NANOARC focused on the development of quantum material-based fibres/fabrics for technological applications ranging from filters to automobile, aerospace, medical, sports, commercial and household domains.
A nanofibre made from polymers, could be just that - a very small fibre. However, make it from highly efficient quantum materials of controlled functionality, and the nanofibre becomes more than a textile - it has smart, unique properties that till now, only came from thin coatings, that wear off. Assemble many of such functional nanofibres, and your fabric no longer needs a coating. What you now have, is a Quantum Fibre or QuantFibreTM.
What is the point of a coating, if it is only stable so long as no cleaning processes or exposure to operation under weathering elements (e.g. sweat, rain, acid, heat, radiation, bacteria, etc) are involved? What textiles/fabrics, does not require usage under such conditions? We develop multi-functional fibres, to create more reliable, long-lasting systems, that negate the need for coatings and problems associated with them.
The functionality is in the entire fibre/fabric, not just the surface and this is what negates the need of a coating. Visualise it this way: there's a difference between a cake coated with chocolate, versus a cake made entirely of chocolate. If you remove the chocolate coating, it is no longer a chocolate cake. Quantum Materials are the functional elements (e.g. chocolate) that define the cake and QuantFibreTM is chocolate is used, is the chocolate cake, that has chocolate all through. No matter how many layers you peel away, the functionality provided by chocolate, will be always available. Its integrity as a chocolate cake, is not threatened by a top coat peeling away. That is the design behind a QuantFibre system.
